SMTD – Notice of Public Hearing

RE:  To consider change of current fare structure dropping age of unaccompanied child rider from current seven (7) years of age and above to five (5) years and above at fare rate of $1.50 in the SMTD service area. 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by Stateline Mass Transit District (SMTD) for the purpose of public involvement to consider increased fare rate from current rate for unaccompanied child rider (7) years of age and above to five (5) years and above.  The proposed change would increase fares from current rate of free for children under seven (7) when accompanied by an adult, to $1.50 fare for unaccompanied children five (5) years and above in the SMTD service area.

SMTD will accept written views, exhibits and other pertinent information until the date of the public hearings.
